November 2012.</span></p> <p><span>Josephine Komara, also known as Obin is Indonesian clothmaker. She has her own company called Bin House. Obin was born as an autism child. She didn’t able to graduate from elementary school because the educational system at that moment didn’t fit her. Suprisingly, she is now a Lecturer for doctoral degree programme in FSRD ITB ( in short, she is gifted as a genious).</span></p> <p><span>In Indonesian fashion industry, Obin is a national treasure. She thought that each country should go back to their roots culture. because she believes each culture has their ‘own thing’ that do not belong to anybody else.<em> “And no one can do their ‘own thing’ better than anybody else”</em>, she said. </span></p> <p><span>Her contemporary works in cloth making industry has been acknowledged through the whole world because she always hold the traditional Indonesian value  with experimental-contemporary techniques. Obin could produce a fine made cloth which we thought impossible to be made at the first place.
